503 puzzle pieces. Box is diameter, puzzle is 20. The box does have open seams on bottom seam which has clear tape entirely around outer box bottom the pieces are in a plastic bag so none of them fall out diameter. Some warping on top lid still looks sharp for a 47 year old puzzle.
